| WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
Has anyone ever asked you this question?
Do you know how to truly answer it or do you have a hard time finding the answer to why you are happy.
Is it reading a good book that you can't put down, is it getting together with friends and family, traveling to places to get away from the stresses of life?
What makes you happy? It is a very interesting question to ask especially in these hard economical times.
Give it some thought, answer it then pass it on to other friends and family and see if they have similiar answers, different ones, etc. |

| I think Happiness differs from one to another , Some find it when they achieve their goals and some find it when making someone smile and happy . There are many kinds of happiness , Everyone wants to have a certain kind which may be suitable or related to his/her life . Happiness is the thing that everyone is fighting for.
SometimesThis happiness is just an illussion which will never happen but people like to live and dream of it as by this they may be satisfied somehow. The most greatest Happiness is when you don't want ANYTHING from the world then you will be at top of it !!

| This is an awesome question. It stopped me in my tracks and I really had to think about it. Of course spending time with my daughter comes immediately to mind, but there is something about that answer that is too simple. For when she is not around, I am neither happy or unhappy. So happiness may depend on something inside of a person, as opposed to external stimuli. A few years back I would have immediately answered writing. I used to love creating worlds and losing myself in them as I was writing (time would have no meaning, especially when I would hit "the zone") and afterwards I would feel full of energy. These days I would answer Teaching. I love working with people and guiding them as best as I can with their spiritual journey. That is what makes me happy. |

| well, i dont know wt can make me happy until i am made happy with something. i ll be happy if i really enjoy a moment, but i have to realize the enjoyment afterward.
so, as seen from my past, reading did make me happy because i enjoy knowing other's thoughts and being inspired, travelling also made me happy because i like freedom^^
i think 90% of happiness comes from inside, our thoughts. obviously, nothing would be beautiful if we see them with sorrowful eyes. To see things as they are can make us happy.

| well if you scrutinize the word happiness, it is but a feeling that is desired more than most feelings. You could more than likely get the same answer by asking one what do they want above all! Though some might loosely answer, happiness. What makes one happy is but an event, thought, action, object/person/(thing), SOURCE that has been presented to you which induces happiness/delight. It can be an achievement, or even the presence of a person that can make one happy.
But since you asked me what makes me happy, well.... enjoying all the precious privileges that life contains and the One who has given me these GIFTS.

| I am happy, I would be a little more proud to live in balance instead of shoveling through task like working a job or any of the circles I walk in or motions I go through without any meaning. My only goal is to be without what I consider personally to be useless task. I have been working doing meaningless task(job)like crazy trying to get off the power grid and grow my own food. I am not person who thinks we need make it somewhere in life instead just try and live in balance or harmony. It really seems paradoxal until you really look into it not progressing in a material fashion or not progressing at all but many people would agree we may have progressed to much to fast in the way of technology and we could even destroy mankind all together. That armagedon idea is not what im pushing at either really what im getting at is its as simple as just reconizing how nature works a oak tree does not try do be more than it is its not trying to be more oak like than any other oak tree it just is an oak tree. anything that requires maintainence is unatural like a building for example and therefore in my thinking out of balance so building more in a permaculture style interaction with the enviroment and focusing of the systems that ride in balance with the rest of the earth and i mean all things of the earth seems to be something I will be much more proud of than the systems im using now. but happy im happy just to exist and remember. | |

| I agree with Miro that there are many kinds of happiness and it varies between one person with another. But first a person should want to be happy. For me, what I called 'crazy happy' is seeing the people I love happy though it doesn't always that way but when that happens it's worth it And also achieving a goal / dream, the euphoria makes me want to jump like a little kid.. For ordinary happy, the simple things would suffice like listening a good song (Jason Mraz is good!), seeing random kindness, playing with my dog or laughing with friends. I think everyone could be happy when they've made peace with themself and the world.. Acceptance helps a lot though not always easy. | |

| there are many things that can make me happy - I made a little inquiry and found out that most things I do in my life makes me happy! :) :) :) - that is hy I smile so much, I guessgeneraly, things that make me feel good can be separated into two categories: 1.) short-term happiness (activities like dancing, biking, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, jogging - mainly attached to the outside)2.) long term happiness - activities like self-education, self-leaderships, philosophy, reading (usually self-help books) and such - mainly those, which help me grow... | |

thats nice to know. Im glad knowing that one is happy. Though one cant be happy ALL the time, you can most of the time. Then again another thing that makes me happy is knowing ill be alright in life. I also love the relief i have from worrying about flaws in life and in myself. Kinda like, "what am i going to do with my life?" For i put my life into the hands of the One who gave me life. HES GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS! I no longer have to worry about what ill do next in life. Because we all have a purpose, a service to do, a mission. Either through suffering, or happiness, everything is predestined. I know that there will be times of agony. Though im not worried, im taking up my cross and following Him. Knowing that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, i put my trust in Him. What a happy feeling!

| When I was in my college days, in one of our subject we discussed about happiness. Our teacher thrown to us the question "What is your happiness?" Of course all of us think so deeply. Thinking what's our happiness? Yes we asked one by one, and my answer that time was, "People especially my family would appreciate me and my doings, that would be my happiness and everything will be alright and I'm ready to die". They were shocked with my answer and me either, I was shocked with their reactions but it's true. That would make me happy! | |
